2d revival - it starts here...

The world of gaming has come a long way since the 80's video game crash. When the industry recovered from its injuries a few years later, the home computer concept became the new platform for games world wide, while different consol games competed alongside on the market.

The 2d-revival concept here at Simuscape is more or less a specific dedication to the 2d graphics genre that is significant for games of that era, such as Transport Tycoon Deluxe, RollerCoaster Tycoon, SimCity 2000, Civilization II, and many many more... The dedication itself is shown by the focus on new custom graphics files here at Simuscape for the game Transport Tycoon Deluxe, originally developed by Chris Sawyer and released in 1995.

And while the main focus still is on Transport Tycoon Deluxe, we have the intention to include and highlight also other games of the same genre in the near future. And while doing so it's our belief that more people may grove an interest in participating and develop new custom graphics for all these classic games - for even more to enjoy and take advantage of...

Welcome to Simuscape!
