Unfortunately there is no snowline what so ever in OTTD Temperate ... Arctic only. The Arctic snowline default is set by the player in the "New Game" "World Generation Window" (That's the one you see after clicking on "New Game").

If you send me your rocky sprites I can code them as newobjects that are designed and guaranteed to survive the Arctic snow. Actually, five sets are required: 1. no snow 2. 1/4 snow 3. 1/2 snow 4. 3/4 snow 5. full snow

There are also OpenGFX+ landscape grf for the temperate grass in artic climate(Way to get snow with temperate grass.), but I guess it cannot help you in your problem.

For someone playing the temperate climate in OTTD it's not a solution - obviously. I don't play it myself, but for testing purposes it would be nice to have it work... Still, Wally may have the solution...  I'll collect and send later today...

[/lurk] There's also the possibility to grab OpenGFX+ Industries to modify the industries available in the selected climate in addition to OpenGFX+ Landscape to change the grass. This way you could essentially have temperate grass and industries in an arctic environment.  Of course, if you find a more suitable solution, even better!  [lurk]
