Thnx! Plenty of kudos will come your way Kamnet , especially when I get to the terminals! But yes, your blastpad work did indeed inspire my blastpads... EDIT: Screenshot with Taxiways: Attachment:

Too much cement there. You could add some green stuff in between to break the 'square' view and so stress the length of the runways. ... Hmm, the cement tile is used as a placeholder, so my suggestion might be pointless.

indeed They're all single tiles, so you can construct it as you want. Will experiment a bit though to see if I can soften up those yellow lines a bit. Feels too clean right now to me. But the basics are there EDIT: What looks better in your opinion? Attachment:

They both have exactly the same yellow lines, only nr1 has extra (brownish colored) pixels around the yellow lines

I prefer more bold and bright myself, and clean. I don't need everything looking like it's old and run down, I need to be able to tell what it is at a glance. Then again I'm not a TTD traditionalist.

I dont quite agree... Some subtle texturing can give a much nicer effect. How about this, 1 is "Original", 2 is extra textured Attachment:

I truthfully can't see any difference between the two. I won't discount that my vision sucks, either. None of this is in any way horrible or unusable. It's delicious eye candy.

lol, this is turning into an eye test Also monitorsettings can make a huge difference. Brightness etc But this is what I meant with subtle differences. Some see it, some dont, but those that see will hopefully see a better version Last shot, that maybe shows the difference. My eyes need some rest now Big left, Textured Big right, untextured Small top, One textured tile surrounded by untextured tiles Small bottom, One untextured tile surrounded by textured tiles Attachment:

Thnx all for the compliments! Quote: You make me feel that I want to try to draw a few terminals and stuff... Great work! Nice! Would look forward to that!! Quote: Were you able to resolve your bounding box issues? Haven't tried it yet, too busy with the objects right now. Will get back to the actual airports when the objects are finished. And I have made some alterations : Before alterations: Attachment:

I have made all the sharp edges a bit more "blurry". Fits in better in the OpenTTD-world in my opinion.

I must say that it's quite odd that I haven't thought of the same idea myself when it comes to actually replace also the airport buildings with custom graphics, (other than replacing the original building with a custom one I mean)... And I was even first with the approach to develop airports using custom objects, although at the time newobjects wasn't a reality so I had to make use of station tiles... and this was during the early years of Innovatia... However, going for your approach the actual airport tiles can be used for the stuff you've shown in your images, and this will allow for different airport buildings/airport styles altogether if adding custom airport buildings... This means I can make use of some of all the test graphics I have in my Workshop folders... The only downside would perhaps be the number of eye candy objects that is needed for large airport styles, and I'm not excatly how many single objects you're using in that last image... On the other hand it's always possible to develop these airports using a mix of eye candy and airport tiles...
