We have got reports from our web service provider that they are under a Denial-of-Service attack which, although not directed towards Simuscape, are affecting our operations.

We hope they will resolve their issues soon.

The ticket isn't resolved yet, however they have blocked the source(s) responsible for the attacks resulting in much better performance at our place.

Can't help wondering if these attacks have been going on for a couple of days, seeing as there have been loading issues for some days now... And is the 500 Internal Error page a result of that - which Wally experienced - or was that due to maintenance on the hosts behalf... :?

Okey... Well, I'll get in touch with the helpdesk tomorrow to find out what was the actual cause of these issues, and to find out more about the 500 Internal Error. Thanks for providing me with the time frame as it'll help a lot... :W

The service provider has now announced the DoS attack resolved.

As for the error 500 issue, I ran in to it as well, about 08:15 yesterday morning (CET that is). I tried again somewhere around 10:30-11:00 and by then the site was back up.
The maintenance the performed during early morning yesterday shouldn't have affected Simuscape, maintenance was made on MSSQL-servers and we're running MySQL.

Have been in contact with my host and the problems reported have been sorted. In regards to the 500 Internal Error page they couldn't find out what may have caused it, but should anyone of you experience something similar again, please make a note of time and day this occur. :)

In all honesty I'm not sure the dude at the helpdesk had all his horses at home... He did mention some logs, but as far as I could understand from his ever so silent voice it was dated back to January 17th...
