making tracks now.

Farm Tracks that is to connect power to the buildings.

Was thinking to put the power underground, but have to dig the holes very deep to fit the poles in, so I gave up on that idea.

It would make the game interesting if you connect power to them they increase productions.

SimCity style? I would like it. And it wouldn't be hard to implement.

The lights are on because the guy with the Greek license plates won't pull over and let them through to get their coffee. :P

Because the guy with the Greek license plates has just spotted a couple of brunette chicks! ;)
Hey Garry, judging by the orderly way cars are parked, there must be no Aussie blondies using your parking. :cucko:

There are a few that use more than one parking space  .. not sure if they was blondes or blind people.

Added animated Bus Stops and Zones now.

The bus Shelters can also have no roof if like to enjoy the sun and rain.

The bus zones have 2 types .. At each end I put the more open type zones and 3 in middle have bays for the bus.

The Lamp posts have been strategically placed so people walking and texting on their cell phones can have something to bump into.

Here the game file if like to try what I done so far.

Had a go at making some old double decker buses that used to operate in Newcastle.

Looking at adding these to the Bus Zones in the Car Parks for the novelty.

One of the front views (second from left) wasn't easy and to me still not look right.

There original colours from the 1950s.

I've improved them a little.
Attachment:
Double Decker Buses-7.png
Double Decker Buses-7.png [ 4.35 KiB | Viewed 6971 times ]

Going to make changes to the animation .. didn't realise till last night that the animation cycles through the selections in order .. I thought it was random. So hope some things can have things happening in a specific order.

Also it was only cycling through 8 or the 9 images .. so that been fixed as well.

I got permission from Supercheese to use the Eye Candy Vehicles as static and looking at doing something like this.
Attachment:
Fire-1.png
Fire-1.png [ 3.96 KiB | Viewed 6971 times ]

Since I got 9 sprites to use for animation.
1. Empty cross roads.
2. Blue car arrives.
3. Blue car doe not give way to white and the crash.
4. They catch fire
5. Fire brigade arrives
6. See if I can make some foremen with a hose to put out the fire.
7. Fire is out
8. Tow Truck Arrives to tow vehicles away.
9. Empty Cross Roads again.

More to come.

Discovered that the Polroad trucks can open the doors at the back of one of them.
Attachment:
Animated Trucks-1.png
Animated Trucks-1.png [ 3.37 KiB | Viewed 6971 times ]

Was hoping something would fall off the back of the truck but no luck

So I animated a that truck and a flat top and they will cycle through the procedure of truck arrive, unloads packages and truck leaves.

Animated Vehicles-1.png

Added the double decker buses, but it way too busy .. think I will separate the buses into their own menu and players can choose what type of bus they want.

If like to try with all those buses here the file. (The next issue will have the buses so can chose what ones want to stop at the bus zones.

An interesting sign I photographed at a railway station today.
Attachment:
Hazard.png
Hazard.png [ 217.06 KiB | Viewed 6970 times ]

Located at Cardiff Railway Station and only people who are able to read it are those right down the southern end of the platform who board or disembark from last door of last carriage.

Are they suppose to read it before or after they fall from platform .. as it would be a hazard reading it after you fall.

Could be worse.
It could be "WARNING - Spring from platform hazard".

(For some silly reason summer and winter didn't work)

I am mostly worried about that unused part of the Tie-wrap not being cut off...
That is a health&safety hazard, can poke someones eye out while they fall off the platform looking at the sign

Have to be a very tall person to poke his eye out

Here's another shot of it.

TV Monitor and sign.png

It under the big TV screen ..

When the train has 8 carriages the last carriages is right at the end of the platform.

The platform is a island platform and curved and the screen is connected to cameras along the platform to gives the guard views so can see if anyone getting on and off his train towards the front.

Could be to warn other people like me who is down that end of the platform it unsafe to watch TV standing on edge of platform.

Might also mean that fence on right side platform could be a hazard as stops you falling off platform

It also means that passengers who like to watch TV have to sit in the last carriage.
These are the same passengers who always complain about the train being overfilled.
