You know the rules .. save your work regularly .. wonder how often regularly is. Several months ago I was re-doing the objects sets with intentions to make these sets. AuzFarmAndFencesObjects AuzRailObjects AuzFakeRailsAndTrainsObjects AuzTownObjects AuzRoadObjects AuzWaterAndLandscapeObjects And like all not good boys I never saved the spreadsheet with all the new information in it and after hours of work I lost power and lost it all. Now I got the task re-doing it all again. I re-did the AuzTownsObjects and added the Power Poles without wires. This the results: Attachment:
Poles without Wires-1.png [ 91.44 KiB | Viewed 8188 times ]
As can see I made a few extra poles and also warning signs to place on the water to warn shipping that there are power lines above. They might get a shocking experience if their ship is too tall. Like to try? Here the game file. Attachment:

Not sure when get chance to do more to the objects sets and fix the spreadsheets. Cheers all .. I off to bed get some beauty sleep

It would be nice to add some water animation around them.

Went for a walk this morning along a forest track and got some ideas. Amongst the rocks was grass. So I added some grass to some rocks see how they look. Attachment:
Grassy Rocks-1.png [ 181.12 KiB | Viewed 8110 times ]
Wondering if the flat tile ones might need a few rocks removed to allow extra grass. Want to try and give me your opinion?

The nest time you go along that forest track I'd like to see some photos. Somehow I don't think there would have been that many rocks, unless you were walking through a gravel pit, a very big one considering the scale of an OTTD tile and map. Also, it's very difficult to distinguish more than a couple of slopes.

I didn't count the rocks .. just noticed some rocks amongst the trees, shrubs and grass.
I think your right .. I might need to remove some more rocks and rocks on some slopes need to be darker when on the shady side so can see slopes better.
Might be a good idea if I do get a few pics next time I go walking .. have to wait till the hot weather cools down before I go again.

Wonder if I do any good in the Olympics as I been practicing Fencing today. The fake roads I done .. it a tedious task if want some fences each side the road too as need 3 objects to make it. Better put your sunnies on as I come up with the bright idea to include fences with the roads. As you lay the road the fences get built each side as well like show here. Attachment:
Road with Fence-4.png [ 58.99 KiB | Viewed 8104 times ]
The road is autolay just find a place to start and keep clicking the direction you want road to go. If want a farm gate just switch purchase icons. There are 4 choices. 1st has no gates and next 3 has some gates depending what side the road you want the gate. Attachment:
TarRoadFence05.png [ 7.59 KiB | Viewed 8104 times ]
Intend to do this with most of the fake roads I have and have more then one type fence to choose from. Would you like to try.

Not sure yet if also do fences with the dirt tracks? Will be making a second set of all these roads with the paling Fence (the type you see around the shearing sheds). Here the latest.

Changing the Auto-Lay tracks so that the 4th purchase section will lay roads east-west and north-south so not have the zig-zag course.
You be able to make roads like this using the one selection.

Thought I'd make it easier for the farmers to get to their live stock in them there hills. Attachment:

If you like mountaineering and off road driving you might like these too. For the time being and might be permanent I left the pretty colours in the purchase menus so can find these new Farm Tracks easier. Attachment:
Track_Slope_Aware_001_PURCHASE.png [ 4.64 KiB | Viewed 8080 times ]
To change directions going up the slopes need to find a flat tile and use the other dirt track objects. All the dirt tracks might rename these farm Tracks as that what they was intended for, even if I stole them from McZapkie's Wired communication set. Want to try.

Here's power to all my friends. Attachment:
I got the power-1.png [ 46.85 KiB | Viewed 8076 times ]
I even had a bright idea of putting a street light on some of the power poles too so you be able to follow the light. These are auto lay roads. There are 4 choices in the purchase menu .. 1st no power poles 2nd power pole 3rd power Pole with street light 4th power pole with junction to go to houses There are no power poles on the slope sections. Flat tiles can have a choice of 4 options, but slopes only allows one choice .. to my knowledge they can not be coded to give the 4 options on the slopes. I've only done the power lines for the tar Road and wire fence at the moment to test and see if they will work. Haven't made the north-south and east-west direction pieces yet to go with the power poles as my mind still getting some ideas. I thinking of changing all the other auto lay roads I did by removing the gates and replace with the power poles. The Gates be better if I make them as single tile Object pieces as it something you would only use occasionally along the fake roads. Anyhow if like to try what I done so far, here the latest newgrf with the Tar Road and Power Poles.

I still playing with electricity .. so hope you don't get shocked by what I doing. Been adding power poles along side more fake roads today. Attachment:
Adding More Power-1.png [ 25.47 KiB | Viewed 8071 times ]
The Tar Road been changed to 3 cross bars on the poles as those roads probably go to more houses. The gravel road probable not as many houses so need les power, so only has 2 cross bars. The narrow gravel road and dirt road I in the process of adding power poles with only 1 cross bar on them. And the Farm Tracks will put McZapkie's telegraph poles on these so can run power up to the farm buildings. Hope to also do some farm tracks with no fences, but with the telegraph poles as well. Today I went walking along some dirt tracks that follow the high voltage power lines. and that has given me some more brain wave ideas. What if I put some dirt tracks at the bottom of the high towers and H-Poles to allow maintenance work to be carried out. Hope one day I'll get back to finishing the Railway Tracks and bridges .. just the roads with fences and power lines got me interested while I can still concentrate on it.

Adding more and more power. Each road type will have a different power Pole as can be seen in this image. Attachment:

I put the street lights higher up to make it harder for kids to throw stones at them and smash them. Will do this with the other roads as well.
