UPDATE to AuzIndTest.

Testing not doing to good .. lots of industries want to close at start of game.

My biggest problem not understanding the coding properly.

My set is highly based on FIRS 1.4.3 and SPI.

The Set Parameters they used because I never changed any settings .. thought I might learn a thing or two if I deleted some and change a few.

All I learnt is Industries are closing when they shouldn't.

So looks like I need put them all back in for now.

I've put the Parameters back for now .. not sure why some industries closed but seems to be only the ones that are used in the original games or has reference to original graphics.

I hope to change many of the original graphics to my own designs.

I did the Lumber Yard today when the heat allowed as very warm here .. reach 46 here today.

This the result of the Lumber Mills.
There are 2 designs and designed to work with the platforms I been making and the object sets.

I might make a new set of single sided platforms and put the mesh fence along the other side to save finding them in the Auz_Object_fences set.

The bottom one needs a fence removed near the office building.

Take care with the heat and don't go out of he house. Personally I wouldn't have the motivation to do anything with such a temperature. (Pass some to us please, temperature will drop by Friday here. My hands and legs are already freezing and I am holding the hair drier.)

If like to try here the GRF file zipped up.

Previous Paper Mill had trouble with cargos it produced even with delivery of all cargos needed. That now been fixed. No need wait any cargos now if just like to load the paper.

I think I need to change the Printer Shop to a bit larger so can accept all those big roles of paper.

Made a Container Terminal for the set and fixed a few cargo problems where some Mines wasn't accepting anything.

Have to now design a platform set that has the cranes for loading containers.

The containers courtesy of Coalroads_Artists. He also held with the train designs too.

You want to try? I no be releasing on Bananas for a while as still got a few changes to make.

Looking at adding a Courier Service next .. maybe a 2x3 size Industry for Goods and Parcels.

Going to change the original Coal mines if no one has any objections.

Designing to the coal mine that used to be near where I live at Killingworth.

Need a few more Stations pieces so can make the loader wider.

The Coal Mine at Killingworth also has a Brickworks as part of the complex, so intend to make a another set to include the brickworks.

What about a more dark color instead of white (cream?) to appear dirty and darker smoke?

Howzat.

Coal Mine and Brick Works with dirty smoke.

Probably get complaints now. All those clean clothes hanging on the clothes line will end up with soot on them. :oops:

He a sample of AuzInd2 which I hope to release tomorrow night after I done some more testing.

Some of the changes are:

-- Changed most of the Industries that accepted Goods, Foods, Mail and Passengers to a different cargo. These cargos are really needed to be delivered to towns and cities to increase population.

Realtisic Cargos:
================

* Some cargos in game represent more then one product .. so I decided to try separate these to make game a bit more realistic and challenging.

-- Added a text line to some Industry so they show the name of Realistic Cargo they produce and accept.
-- For instance:
-- Livestock .. shown as Sheep, Cattle and Pigs.
-- Liquid Merchandise .. as Beer, Wine, Soft Drinks, Fruit Juices and Processed Milks.
-- Fresh Produce .. as Fruit and Vegetables.
-- Grain .. as Wheat, Cereal Crops
-- Building Supplies .. as Wood Products, Metal Products, Bricks, Cement, Lime
-- Processed Foods .. also shown as Smallgoods and Dairy Products

NEW or CHANGED GRAPHICS:
============

* Livestock Sales Yards (now larger) so that platforms fit better.
* Minor graphic changes to Abattoirs so that platforms fit better.
* Minor graphic changes Bacon factory so that platforms fit better.
* Added cannery (was already there .. just I had ID code wrong so it never appeared in game)
* Agriculture Farm
* Cattle Station
* Mixed Farm
* Sheep Farm
* Butcher Shop - now Butcher and Milk Bar .. accepts MEAT, FISH, BEER (Liquid Merchandise is Processed Milk) and produces FOOD

Been having fun last few days with coding problems .. files I zipped up using WinRAR didn't work for some players who downloaded it in the forums.

Found out the latest version of WinRAR that updates a few weeks ago was the problem. (I think) .. I uninstalled it and put older version on and all seems fine now.

So here the latest AuzInd2 which you will also find on Bananas.

Been making a few changes to the Industry Sets.

Working on AuzInd3. Removed several Industries and outing in a few new ones also altering graphics to some.

Change the Grain Silos (Thanks to ISR) but hope to change the colours look more like concrete.
The Container Terminal removed one of the sheds to make room for more Containers and increased the height to 3.

Been brought to my attention that some of the GRF files I released on Bananas is confusing to know which one are the newest.

I never looked before as I always copied my files to my game direct. But I did look and yes they are right .. it is confusing.

So what I in process doing is all the ones that are older I putting the words *** THIS GRF IS OBSOLETE *** in the contents.

So when you Check Online Contents and click on a file

.. to the right in "CONTENT INFO" in "Description" if the file is old it will have the words "*** THIS GRF IS OBSOLETE *** "

Hope this helps you find the newest sets.

Save people going all the way to a Post office to post letters, I put a few Post Boxes around the streets.

as can see in above image there is a Post Box and phone booth now in the village.
And in town there is a Post Box in front of the shops. They produce Mail.

Out on its lonesome is a Cargo Airport Building it based on idea Quast65 mention about have industries 1x1 tile and you build the rest of the Industry. Like shown in next image.
