Now I can do these slope aware tiles .. I will be making many changes to the Auz_Roadside_Objects and Auz_Lineside_Objects. Anything I can find in these that could be made if can also be made on slopes I will attempt to change.

I will concentrate on the Auz_Roadside_Objects first.

Changes made in last few days:
Some fences in the farm Objects are slope aware as mentioned earlier.
Version above had a few errors with the Wooden Fences .. these .. I hope .. are fixed in the version below.
I done a 'Various Animals' in this will find sheep, cattle, horses and kangaroos that can be places on any shape tile.
Removed previous kangaroos and horses.
I will leave the Sheep and Cattle Musters and the lone horse riders with their dogs.
The 'Various Animals' designed to be used with the Farm Objects farm_objects-2. My animals do not have any hay to eat, you will find the hay in the Farm Objects along with a few different animal objects such as pigs, geese and chickens.

If you want to see for yourself give this a try .. just be warned if you get a good game going with these new changes .. I can not guarantee the next update will work successfully with saved games.

Do you like to go camping? Well here's your chance to go without leaving your desk. You can choose down by the river, in the mountains, desert or in the snow. Can go alone or in groups.

Let's go camping.

Some ideas for improvement:
1. The ones on the slopes don't look so correct. They seem to be floating in the air. You will have to provide different sprites for them or rework the surface around then to be flat.
2. --> Blend them with the terrain, (but will need different sprites for various climates)

That something I need to work on .. I think until I able to do so I'll remove the tents from slopes for now. Just have them on the level ground sections.

They should do this? I tested in different climates including Tropic and Snow and I like to use the xUSSR Set. Static objects and they adjusted to suit where ever I put them. Discovered the build on water too in last release. Since been fixed.

In the pic suppose to be some black bears, grizzlies and kangaroos. Like to replace the kangaroos with something else later but not sure what just yet.

Want to do some prospecting? Replaced the kangaroos in the camping section with some old mines.

Just be careful with other slopes as there are some bears there.

Here's a copy of Version 10 of Auz_Roadside_Objects.
Attachment:
AuzRoasideObjects.rar [490.01 KiB]
Downloaded 409 times

Version 10 has a variety of Slope-Aware objects such as: Animals (Sheep, Cattle, Horses and Kangaroos), Camping (Tents that can be placed anywhere in the wilderness), Wooden Split Fences (these also match the fences used for the Shearing Sheds, Milking Shed and (the Stock Yards found in Auz_Lineside_Objects), Wire Fences, Grapevines, and Wheat Fields.

I am Very grateful to: Quast65, Pyoro, Planetmaker, Frosch and the developers of the OGFX+Landscape-grf, for their help in creating the codes for the slope aware tiles.

And version 16 Auz_Lineside_Objects.

I've made a few changes in Auz_Lineside_Objects added extra Grain Silos with Trucks unloading.

When I put the silos together to take the pic .. it has given me some more work. Now I have trucks at the silos .. they will need a road too access it.

Auz_Bridges

Wallyweb and I started making a bridge set.

The set will basically be common bridges that are in use in Australia and have been seen in other parts of the world.

It a steel girder bridge commonly seen in many countries. The railways never to my knowledge paint their bridges .. hence the rusty look.

The Road Traffic Authority painted their bridges with a grey rust proof paint .. hence the grey road bridges. The road bridges can be placed side by side as shown here so look good for busy highways.

I tested it with Total Bridge Renewal and Urban Transit System Bridge and placed it after both of these and it works fine. Did not work when I placed it before them.

This issue only has one bridge at the moment .. the steal girder bridge.
Here's a pic of the AuzBridges that are in the pipeline.

I tested it with NuTracks and unfortunate there is a white dot top of ramp not noticed when making the set. Haven't tested at moment with other track sets see if same problem.

Checking AuzTrains and NSWTrains last few days and found several graphic issues.

A few alignment problems and animated pixels being main problems.

I fixed all I found and have re-released these sets as Version 6 on Bananas.

Also made a few changes. Making the trains as realistic as possible when it comes to weight, year they entered service, tare, capacity, Number of passengers and maximum speed they did.

In the sets released today I changed many of the Goods Wagons as follows:

Speed of Freight Wagons altered as follows:
------------------------------------------

Gen 1 maximum speed limit is 40 km/p.h.
Gen 2 maximum speed limit is 60 km/p.h. (Some are 40 km/p.h.)
Gen 3 maximum speed limit no greater then 80 km/p.h.
Gen 4 maximum speed limit no greater then 100 km/p.h.
Gen 5 speed limit between 80 and 120 with some wagons allowed 140 km/p.h.

Some of the Goods Wagons have had their Tare and Capacity changed ..

I think it will take me a month or more .. but intend to change years entered service, Weight, Speed, Capacity etc. as per the books I have and information I have on DVDs of old railway books dated back to the late 1800s.

After I do that see what other vehicles I can add.

Cheers all

Spirit of Progress.png
Spirit of Progress.png [ 243.61 KiB | Viewed 9313 times ]

Between 1937 and 1962 the Spirit of Progress operated between Melbourne and Albury on the Broad Gauge line.

When the standard gauge line opened in 1962 between Albury and Melbourne the Spirit of Progress was converted to run on the Standard Gauge Melbourne to Sydney.

When it ran all way to Sydney often had Power Van, Sleeping Cars and sometimes the Dining Car off the Southern Aurora.

If like to try here AuzTrains version 7.
