Arson? Likely, considering the history of fires at the area. Of course we cannot exclude the case of an idiot passing with his car and trowing a cigarette.

13 hours ago the fire was set under full control (actually only one helicopter was needed for prevention). Firefighters fought bravely through last night and 2 narrowly escaped getting burned. Bravo boys! Fire almost reached the Olympic village and the Tatoi airfield.

Police is investigating arson:

1. 2 fires broke out with a few hours difference.
2. There is no human activity in the area during the night.
3. The area has been burned repeatedly in the past.
4. Also someone stated on TV that he found apple trees planted inside the bush.

It seems that some criminals are planning to destroy the bush to grab the land and sell it.
