Well this is my Thread about the Life of the Company in my New Game, Frenfingway Transportation. I started the Game in 1750, and currently it is 1752. At the Minute their are two Companies, the Aforementioned Frenfingway Transportation, who currently only operate Horse Drawn Carraiges (180) and Frenfingway Shipping Co. (FSc.) Who currently operate 6 Ships. The Companies List: Attachment:

The Current Prodcedure of Frenfingway Transportation is to Provide Horse Drawn Carriage Services, whilst buying Large Amount of Land for an as Yet unknown Project (Railways), along with Building these things that the Owner of the Company calls Airfields. Here is the Current Map: Attachment:

The Capital City of the region, Frenfingway, has a Population of 17,990 and 691 Houses. Pictured is the Main part of the City. Attachment:

Okey, my overall knowledge about OTTD isn't what it should be - apparently, but it is possible to start a game already at the year 1750? Or is it pure fictional, although I can clearly see that it says 1750 in the company info screens... Also, I've sent you a pm...

In OTTD you can start as Early as the Year 0. However, the Earliest I normally start is 1800, this Game was a one off. Here is the Second City of the Region, Dinston. It is much Smaller than Frenfingway, with only 1,873 People living there, with 65 Houses. Attachment:

EDIT: Plus a Larger shot of Frenfingway: Attachment:

Yeah, I have many Games where I did that, only I use UKRS2. This time I have 80 Years instead of the Usual 30, so an Even Bigger Road network is needed this time. Heres a Screenshot of the Regions Third Town, Natston. This town is Home to 1,519 People, and has 44 Houses. It will become a Major Town in the Future when the Owner of the Company Reveals his Big Plans. Attachment:

Click on for a Larger Image. Also, I would like a Name for the Region (I'm not very Creative with names), so please can some of you give me Suggestions of names for the Region.

Names are quite difficult to come up with... Perhaps if you can give some directions... Should it be a English-isch name or pure fictional? Remember howI had to think before Innovatia came to mind... And as far as the image concerns; do I spot some different tram poles there?

I would prefer an English Sounding Name, mainly as the Game will be using a lot of British Sets. SAC wrote: And as far as the image concerns; do I spot some different tram poles there? Oh shut it you smartarse, Haha JK, Yeah you do, I forgot to turn them Back off, I currently have two games on at once, one of which is in 2006, Haha. Here is another Major City of the Map, Deston. It is home to 1,279 People, who live in 69 Houses, whilst it's suburbs, Duningley and Invehattan have 81 people in 5 Houses and 199 in 8 Houses respectively. Attachment:

Yeah, It makes it much easier in the Future when I come to expand Networks and such. Also, here is a Close up of the Town of Cafingford, which has 608 People living in 30 Houses. Attachment:

SAC wrote: Yes, I do enjoy them. However, I don't particularly enjoy that building set... It is TTRS3, It is pretty pants at the Start, however, It gets much better as the time Passes, especially in the 2000's. Example of a town in 2006. I think it looks better. Attachment:

Hey this topic is really cool. It's totally inspired me to make my own diary thread! I've played Transport Tycoon since it came out and I always love seeing different peoples approach to creating a network. Have you gotten very far with this scenario now?

Sorry this has taken a while, I've not been too active on here recently. I'm glad I could help to inspire you. This game has recently taken the sideline, however, the Christmas Break is here now, so I might have to play abit more of it .

So we should expect new screenshots? SAC: I agree with you in part [from my previous pms to you, you know what I mean] (and check development posts for proof of my thesis). But we had to finish a base set. It was urgent.

athanasios wrote: So we should expect new screenshots? Indeed you should, in fact I think I have some somewhere here.......where are they?......Ahhh, yes, found them Frindinghead:Frindinghead is a small town with a population of 535 people, and 26 homes. It is served by a horse-pulled tram, which comes from Slenfingway-on-Sea, which is quite a distance from Frindinghead. Attachment:

Slenfingway-on-Sea and Senhattan:Slenfingway-on-Sea is a Medium-sized City with a population of 1,931 people, and 57 homes. It is currently served by horse-pulled trams, which operate the aforementioned service to Frindinghead, as well as one to Deston, as the many Bus services are yet to be extended to here. Also operated are the inner-city services, which pass through the Suburb of Senhattan, which has a population of 373 people, and 22 homes. Senhattan is also expected to get a dock, operated by the FSc., whilst there is also land bought, in Slenfingway-on-Sea, by FT for the large project of the future. Attachment:
