Hi, Maybe this is not the right place (as the main focus of Simuscape is on applying graphics), but I'll ask it anyway I've been ploughing through the openttd forum searching for a clear description on how to apply patches to OTTD on a windows platform and did not find it. Are there some people out here that know how to do that and are able to write a clear how-to? I have tried using TortoiseSVN and got so far that I can apply a patch, but you still have to compile. How does that work and with what program?

But you can start here for the required libraries Compiling OpenTTD and here for your compilation environment (pre-processor, compiler, linker) Coding Tools. Depending on your operating system follow the appropriate links ...

Nice guide indeed! Would you mind posting a few screens to clarify the process, I think it would make things easier for newbies (and morons like me).

Thnx for the thumbs up!
@Wallyweb, Is it for you as moderator possible to add more than 3 pics/attachments to a post? Because I think I can clarify it a bit better with more pictures. If not I can make it into a Word-document.

The word-document would be ok but I think having the actual post(s) would make for a better presentation in a forum.

Added some screenies and altered a bit of text. Should be ok now to go to the tutorial section. Good to know that you can add 5 attachments.
