I never done screen shots before. One of the scenarios I making like to enter screen shot of some of that if ever I get a scenario finished. Think Sydney would look ok with the 23 platforms.

Enjoy your game. Kids off computer now so I see how much of the rail bridge I can fix.

Cheers

I manage to fix what mistakes I could find.

Re-did the 06 ramps as these varied from to wide or 2 narrow.

Found a few of the bridge parts a pixel out as now lined up properly with the templates.

All the back and base parts of the bridges when removing the blue it had 5 spaces along the bottom and the front only had 4.

I wondered if this why they was out a pixel on you. So I added one pixel to the bottom of the back and base sections so they now both equal along the bottom.

Suggestion .. what if we have a break from this for 24 hours or so .. so we can catch up on other things. Allow you to do your screenshot and I can edit some of the scenarios I been making.

I been using the TBR bridges in the scenarios I doing and like to delete them all and have it ready to add the bridges we are doing.

Cheers

Sounds like a plan. Let's go for 48. The screenshot I am working on is quite intricate and some things may need inventing 8-)

Sounds good .. have a vacation for a few days or more and get our minds on other things and come back to the bridges nice and fresh .. maybe the pirates be tied of waiting and not be there to steel steal and other bridge parts any more. But have to be careful not want to do Quast65 out of a job

Doing some work to scenario to night and discovered a few improvements and changes I can make to the AuzInd160 Industry set and some new objects that might be nice.

Cheers and enjoy the vacation.

would we like a few more days vacation from bridges?

Give me time to change some things in my object sets .. adding a Water Object set and transferring all water objects from the other 2 sets.

Maybe back to bridges Monday if ok by you.

Cheers

Well .. it Monday here now .. but like all the rest of the world your still in the past

I might be ahead on time, but behind on my planned catch up on other projects schedule.

Hope by time your Monday eventually comes and you had a good sleep, I might be ready to go back to doing some bridge work.

I started the scenario and found the Industry Silos I had made to large for what I wanted, so I changed them and got side tracked in the Object sets. Hope to have the wharves and some Ship objects finished by tonight. The sailing ships given me a idea to try .. the rigging when the sails not in use .. and dotted .. not a continuous line.

See what I mean in this pic of the Windjammer.

I wonder how the electrical wires in my object set would look with the wires dotted :?:

Any how back to work while the kids are not home.

It's Monday here now too, but it's 2 AM and some pirates from the other side of the Pacific left little bits of steel lying around and now I have to clean it all up. :x

I'm behind schedule as well and I'll need a few more days to get my screenshot contest entry back on track.

How about we both catch up on other things for a few more days .. I got shopping Wednesday and have to visit Immigration Thursday .. so what we delay till Monday next week .. that the one after next Sunday and before next Tuesday.

Might give me chance to check the overhead wires with the dots instead of continues lines.

Cheers

Thanks pal .. now the pilots have to keep their eyes open when doing any low flying.

Thanks to McZapkie and his Wired Telecommunication set I got the idea for the electric wires.

I'm experimenting with an idea of having platforms on a bridge. The platform will be fake but when playing a game and placing a platform at the end of a bridge and arrange for a train to stop and far end of the single platform the rest of the train will be still on the bridge at the fake platforms ..
Not sure if should use overlap tiles and objects to build under the bridges to make the platforms .. or if you and I can design a bridge set to do this.

Can't send you a pic at moment as I not at my computer.

But what your opinion of making a bridge set with platforms on? Could use your Urban bridge, or design a special bridge ..

Cheers

Read what ya left in the other forum. Make sense what ya said about trains stopping at platforms longer. Never suit platers who play to win and take the game serious .. but for a humble player like myself just enjoy playing around and making everything look good .. might be ok.

I think a long bridge with platforms might not be suitable. But a short bridge something like this could look good.

I'll experiment with overlap object tiles first and see if idea might work.
