I'm experimenting with an idea of having platforms on a bridge. The platform will be fake but when playing a game and placing a platform at the end of a bridge and arrange for a train to stop and far end of the single platform the rest of the train will be still on the bridge at the fake platforms ..
Not sure if should use overlap tiles and objects to build under the bridges to make the platforms .. or if you and I can design a bridge set to do this.

Can't send you a pic at moment as I not at my computer.

But what your opinion of making a bridge set with platforms on? Could use your Urban bridge, or design a special bridge ..

Cheers
Bridges do not in any way support stations, so a special bridge is out of the question.
That said, an object placed under the bridge can be used. That was one of the goals when I designed the Urban Bridge. Just make sure that your object fits between the cross beams.
Note that this does not work for the ramps. For those you will have to use a tile adjacent to the ramp.

If You use such option isn't there the loading penalty? I am not aware that You can turn it off.

ISA and I thought we was going insane or you was or is

Been fiddling with Dutch stations and bridges using both the brick bridge and your urban bridge.

This result to date. Still a bit of adjustments to make but think it going to work.

You want to start tearing our hair out again with the bridges when you wake tomorrow or you like more time for other things?

No prob .. that gives me chance to do some more to the object sets.

Looking at adding snow and desert terrain tiles to my landscape object set who has a country of mixture of landscapes. Mainly doing it for scenario makers or if your playing a temperate game and just for the fun put some snow in the hills and mountains.

How's the screenshot coming along?

Cheers pal

I most likely not be available Thursday to start bridging again .. my son been admitted to hospital. Looks like he has dengue fever. Hospitals here do not have staff to look after patience needs all the time. A parent or guardian has to stay with the patience 24/7. So until he ok to come home I be spending a lot of time at the hospital rotating with his mum so someone be with him all the time.

Cheers pal

Why? Do the nurses have measles too?

Good to hear that your son's illness is not as serious as first thought. Take your time. Family comes first. :)

Screenshot not bad at all .. I'll have to try an entry next time if get chance. One of the scenarios I making Starts from Sydney and when finish hope to have all the Sydney Suburban network in it. Sydney with 15 country platforms and 8 suburban might make a interesting shot.

My boy comes home from hospital later today and he not be going to school for a few days so I imagine he be wanting to hog my computer often

Let me know if I need to do anything else to the steel bridges and I do it when chance allows.

Cheers pal
