These are available at the moment: - X2 in the old blue/white SJ livery - X3 (Arlanda Express) - X9 - X31K - X40 is available but needs to be repainted with longer wagons - X50 (aka Regina), the predecessor of SJ3000 - Y2 (Diesel-version of X31K) - Y3
X60 or X61/X62 is planned but not yet drawn.

Chrill wrote: Oh this looks absolutely marvellous. What is the word on modern passenger trains like the SJ3000, X2 or the X60? Are they also planned for inclusion? As SlemFreak points out, some EMU's/DMU's are done - from AndersI's former "Swedish Trains" - which I've taken over - although now labelled INFRA Trains... But while it wasn't the intention to begin with, I have still found myself redrawing most of the work included in Anders I's set. The RC-engines are redrawn and extended in versions, and lately I draw my own versions of SJ's Ma, Dm and Dm3 engines, the first one also in TGOJ's livery and the two latter in LKAB's livery. On top of that there are new engines on it's way. Some have already been drawn such as the T46, but more are on their way. Also, coaches and freight cars are being redrawn as well, in particular to be adapted to the new length usable in the game. The only work that most likely will remain as is from AndersI's set would be the steam engines and coaches/freight cars from that era. Basically because I find no interest in drawing those, and I never play that era myself, but to at least offer the option to anyone using the INFRA Trains Set once released. However, as a sidenote I have made some minor changes to the steam engines making them a bit darker - pretty much in line with the INFRA concept overall... And speaking of new work, I believe that with the original version of SJ's '80-series of coaches, I'm done with that era as far as coaches concerns. The '80-series consists of coaches litt A7, B7 and R4, (A11, B11, and RB11), along with a B2 for the SSRT livery. A trained eye may also notice some changes of the RC6 and RC7 engines; Attachment:

I haven't decided whether or not to include any sleepers or couchette cars yet though... Below is an in-game image showcasing some RC-engines with attached coaches in SJ's BlueX-concept, (today replaced with the new black livery); Attachment:

Currently working on some of SJ's diesel engines, namely the T44/Td; Attachment:

Inputs appreciated as I'm somewhat uncertain whether or not I've captured their real life appearance...

I couldn't resist rendering just one more train, as a direct comparison this time. It's an orange Rc6 with the weird blue roof from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SJ_Rc#medi ... livery.jpg. No wheels, don't blame me. Low AA of course, much lower and it would start looking strange (details disappearing and reappearing in different views etc.). In fact, I think it already is. Also, I don't find looking at trains on a blue background very useful. Just make a template screenshot and paste everything in there so you have an "in-game" preview you don't have to write any code for.

File comment: Added high-AA version (spot the difference...)

IMO you should do the renders and SAC retouch them.

The complete diesel engine series -for now... starting with T43 in its orginial livery followed by T44 in its original orange livery, followed by T44 in SJ's blue/red livery, and at the end the renovated T44, renamed to Td... Attachment:

Oh, and I hope the background is more appropriate...

As I see it, the dilemma is this: Either make the model realistic and the sprites realistically bland in 1x zoom, or make the model more cartoonish and the 2x (and possibly 4x) sprites look silly. Personally, I'm starting to like having vehicles etc. "the way they really are" even if it means they are a little more "uninteresting" in 1x. (You did mention yourself that you were going after the real-life appearance... ) Perhaps a TT-Forums poll is in order if I ever get a decent collection of vehicles rendered.

Oh, realism is essential, no questions there... But even though using your method I still feel that a tad bit of a manual touch is needed for that extra level of realism... Still, it's a matter of taste in the end and we all have our different views when it comes to personal taste... And speaking of new graphics, done with those diesel engines I decided to have a go at SJ's high speed train, the X2000, seeing as we can work with new lengths... I've focused on SJ's current livery for the X2000-train, the grey one, and have attached two images showcasing both my version of the train as well as a comparison between the two other X2000-versions made by AndersI, (the first image) and Purno, (the second image)... Any thoughts?

Yet another update to the X2000, this time with a darker roof and a slightly reworked front... Attachment:

Continuing with the norwegian EMU, the BM73b, which is used on the long distance route between Gothenburg and Oslo. Up to 4 of these can be used in multiple operations... Attachment:

Nice! I think the red is a bit too dark though, the BM73 is more bright red.

You may think it's a more bright red having a look at pictures around the internet, but as I can see the BM73b every single day when at work, it's actually a rather dark red colour... All the same I decided to make it a bit brighter, and keep in mind it's the shadow side of the train that's visible. The opposite side will be brighter... The new version on top with the previous one below; Attachment:

To be honest I've never seen BM73 IRL but all pictures I can find show a more bright red. SAC wrote: The new version on top with the previous one below; IMO the old version is better, the new one is closer to pink I think.
