Good idea.

Thanks pal.

Added these cargos will remove some dead ends in the cargo chain.

Maybe some places that only produce Goods could also produce Mail or Parcels as well. Goods represent large consignments and Parcels or Mail smaller consignments.

Cheers

Just added those Mail and parcels cargos to a few Industries.

Version 6
=========

The cargo chain comes to a dead end at some Industries as they never produced any cargo ..
so I added either Mail or Parcels to some of these places .. it represent where people have
placed an order for something and arrangements have been made to have it delivered.

The following Industries now produce Parcels or Mail:

Butcher and Grocer
Hardware Store
Printing Shop
Shopping Mall
Super Market

I made a few changes to Version 6 which I have put on Bananas.

The Industries I listed that produces Mail or Parcels .. I added to coding so these only produce depending on size of town they near. Bigger the town the more they produce.

Delivering of cargo to these places doesn't not increased what they produce. If want to produce more, then make the town bigger.

Started making changes to the Industry Sets.

Much thanks to Quast65 teaching me Stations and Platforms I can now make improvements to my Industry set so they match up.

The Goods Sheds, Loading Banks, Wool Dumps, Stock Sidings, Intermediate Sidings have been removed (those will be placed in the AuzFreightStations Set .. Intend to make new Industries to replace them.

Changed the Livestock Sales Yard.

It is a bit larger then previous.

At the back has the loading chute and gate for road vehicles.

At the front has a raised area so it will line up with platforms for rail.

Also changed the platform in the AuzFreightStations Livestock section so they match up with the Industry set.

I am changing the AuzFreightStations Livestock Platform so it will fit the Livestock Sales Yards.

The smaller lot bottom left is a platform and some non-track yards for use near farms that produce Livestock and at places that accept Livestock.

Will be changing graphics with some other industries eventually and add sections so they too will line up with platforms.
Cheers all

Been reported that versionAuzInd170 has some cargo issues.

Thanks to AndytheNorth he helped with a code I wasn't sure of, so hoping changes I made to this will fix the cargo issues.

Was told that the Brewery wasn't accepting Sugar, after making these changes it is accepting it now.

While I making these changes also making some other alterations too.

The Livestock Sales Yards shown above will be in a Version 8 of AuzInd170 and some minor alterations to graphics with bacon Factory and Abattoirs so they can be used with platforms better.

Also got an idea how to increase cargos
Whether you play a game normal and don't care if make Bacon from mutton or beef, that is up to you, or you can try make things more difficult by taking the correct cargos to the correct destinations.

Still restricted to 32, but by adding a text line to some Industries to what they actually need (suitable only for players who like some realism to game).

For instance LIVESTOCK normally represents all Farm Animals but my adding a text line as shown here, can now have Sheep, Cattle and Pigs.
This image shows Agriculture Farm produces Pigs and Pigs accepted at the Bacon Factory.

The Liquid Merchandise I have in game represents Beer, Processed Milks, Fruit Juice and Soft Drinks.

The Brewery by the way accepting Fresh Produce which will be FRUIT

Hope like this idea .. comments welcomed.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL

Interesting that you placed this comment directly below your comment on pig farms. Now that I know exactly which liquids are produced by pigs I shall never drink beer, milk, juice and soft drinks ever again. Now, where's my whiskey?

Have a Happy New Year! :W

What do they make Whiskey from :cucko: :?:

Maybe I could make a still or what ever they called them for the game to make moonshine. Could deliver Vegetables to it,

Heard some make whiskey from potatos and other types of fruits and vegetables .. so pig pee should be ok as they usually feed them old fruits and vegetables

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and every one else who sees this post.

Change the cargo text just a bit.

Bottom: Butcher and Milk Bar
Right: Newsagent and Delicatessen
Each of those have 4 different views.

These are some Business:
Left: Construction Suppler (Supplies material to build houses and other structures)
Right: Council Depot (maybe should call it Shire Council Depot whatcha think)
Middle: Bulk Grain Terminal.

AuzInd170 had some Industries that produced random cargos . there are none yet in AuzInd2, but might add some soon.

Would you like to try: (Includes Changelog File so can read what I been doing).

Re-did the graphics to the FIRS Dairy Industry.

I thought Milk be better then Whiskey

Seriously think to remove the "Set Parameters" that FIRS and SPI added and let them work same as default Industries .. they still produce a small amount and increase when cargos are delivered to them.

Do you think this idea be better?

Cheers all

I've been recording AuzInd set .. making AuzInd3 .. but before I release it as that I calling it AuzIndTest as that what if is .. testing and seeing what people think .. (about this set that is .. not what really on your mind  )

All industries should now work like the default industries did .. they should all produce a limited supply of cargos and increase as you deliver cargos to that industry.

Some Industries will produce depending on size of town.

Many cargos represent more then 1 cargos.

Livestock .. Pigs, Sheep and Cattle.
Fuel .. Petrol and Diesel.
Liquid Merchandise .. Beer, Wine, Soft Drinks and Fruit Juice. (Sorry no Whiskey)
Processed Foods .. Dairy Products, Smallgoods, Flour,
Building Material .. Wood Products, Metal Products, Cement, Bricks, Lime
Fresh Produce .. Fruit, Vegetables

Any suggestions for more let me know.

Thinking to do same with Supplies .. can supply cardboard to FRuit Packing Sheds for boxes, Cans to Cannery, Bottles to places that produce Liquids, just a few ideas.

Would you care to try. It includes the GRF and ChangeLog File.

This how the Menu to each Industry will appear. Showing Naem of cargo and in brackets the realistic name followed by what Industries will accept that realistic cargo.

Going to take a while to test properly as there are 93 Industries so far. I have room to add 5 more.

Cheers all

What do we need to make whisky?

I probably could make a Rum factory to make Bundaberg Rum if that be any good?

Are you one of those Whiskey drinkers who don't drink any more .. and don't drink any less too.

I had to leave in some of the "Set Parameters" as they controlled some switchers and a few other things still needed.

I going through the codes now and fixing up the realistic menus so not as much writing yet easy to understand still.

Then next step if change some more graphics.

After that back to making Stations and Platforms to match some of the Industries.

Cheers all.

Cheers
